Nice people

Do they really finish last?


My manager suggested that I include a little section on the new website where I would speak my mind about different random topics. I thought, what a great idea! It only took me a couple of days to realize he probably was just tired of hearing my opinion about things. :) I am not known for being shy to speak my mind.

So, this leads me to my first random thought. Does the 'nice guy' really finish last? We've all heard it before. I can speak from experience and say that as a female artist in the music industry, I would always prefer to just be cool and go with the flow...but I would be eaten alive! It seems, if you don't speak loudly, someone louder will speak for you.

I think that sucks. I want to prove this theory wrong, dammit. But maybe I'm not nice enough...??? Nice people should be rewarded with chocolate and cheese, and billions of dollars....no, make that billions of Euros!

Wonder if this is what my manager had in mind?...ha! :)
